In order to take of these people this PMGDISGA- Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan project has been launched. The announcement  for this project has made by our finance minister Mr. Arun  Jately when the union budget has been announced and the budget taken for this project is Rs 2,351.38 crore. Finally on 8^th of  February 2017, our honourable prime minister has given approval to this PMGDISHA- Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan.

Now What is PMGDISHA- PMGDISHA stands for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan. This is the project which has been launched under skill India mission in order to make 6 crore Indian rural houses digitally literate

Digital Literate – means trained the people for using digital devices make them capable of using and operating computer and access digital devices like tablets, smart phones, etc. teaching them how to send and receive emails, explore internet, access government services,  make them able for searching information and undertaking cashless transactions , using e-wallet. Etc

Target: PMGDISHA- Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan…is expected to be one of the world’s project. And the target taken for this project is to trained 6 crore  rural houses till the Financial Year 2019. Target is very big therefore government has decided to divide the project into three financial year. On the financial Year 2016-2017 government has decided 25 lakh, and on the financial year 2017-2018 government has decided to trained 275 lakh candidates and by the year financial year 2018-2019 government has decided to trained 300 candidates. In ordered to ensure this data government requested 250,000 gram panchayats to register at lest 200-300 candidates…
