As per an estimate only very few percentage of Indian population is formally skilled in their specific job roles, many of the Indian population specially youths after finishing their plus two they just want to do their college from open learning and engaged themselves in works like BPO and backend. These kinds of youths are not professionally skilled, to skill these youths we need some skill development scheme. In order to have solution of such kind of problem government has come up with the scheme known as PMKVY scheme.
                     PMKVY stands for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. This is basically a skill development program which has comes under Skill Development Mission.  PMKVY scheme has been launched on 15 July 2015 by the honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on the occasion of International Youth Day.  This scheme aims to skill the Indian Youths by the year 2020 and link them with the suitable company in order to provide them suitable job role. This scheme is the bridge between the recruiter and the employs.  Where through this scheme, requite will reach to their required employee.
                     PMKVY scheme probably provides 419 job roles under 32 sectors. Each of the sectors which is in the PMKVY scheme has been designed in a way so that the student will get theoretical and practical knowledge as well. PMKVY scheme offers courses for all those students who are either 10th or 12th pass out or college drop outs. Anybody from the 14-34 year of age group can be the part of this PMKVY scheme. PMKVY scheme is for all, therefore any student who is already engaged in any other course can be the part of PMKVY scheme.  PMKVY scheme is not for those candidates who are doing their college studies.
Attractions of PMKVY
1.       PMKVY scheme offers short term courses.  All the 419 job courses which are under the PMKVY job course list are very short durational courses.  The maximum duration for any of any of the course is three months.
2.       Recognition of Prior Learning. The total agenda of government is to trained 1 crore Indian Youths by the year 2020. But the target has been divided into two parts. 75lakhs those candidates who are fresher’s and 25 laksh those candidates who have some prior learning experience are going to be trained under this PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas  Yojana) scheme.
3.       To make this scheme productive, with expected result and make sure that the training centre is providing quality training, government has decided to monitor them.  In order to monitor them government has come up with the varieties of monitoring methods which includes regular telephone update, surprise visit etc.
4.       Placement is one of the key components of PMKVY scheme. To provide the entire candidate a suitable job this is one of the key aims of PMKVY scheme.
5.       To make sure that the candidate must aware with the PMKVY scheme and all the candidates who have been passed out from the PMKVY scheme must benefited with the required job government has decided to provide them placement. Therefore, it is mandatory in PMKVY scheme to conduct Kaushal and Rozagar mela at least within every six months with the complete coverage of Media and Press.
6.       To make sure that each and every person will be aware with the PMKVY scheme, it is important in PMKVY scheme to have proper branding of the scheme.
Training Partners:
To make sure that this scheme reaches to its desire agenda government has plant some Training Partners. Training Partners are the kind of link between the government and the training centre. The work of training partners is to connect the training centres with the government for the PMKVY scheme.  Provide them all the necessary help about the project. From counselling till the centre running at every single step Training Partner is going to help the training centre.
Training Center:
Training centre is the place from PMKVY skill training is going to be imparted.  The work of the training centre is to connect the candidate with the scheme.  Training centre is the key part in the entire PMKVY project.  There work is to invite the candidate for the scheme, provide them quality training, take their attendance, make sure that the candidate must appear for the online examination, help them to be benefitted with all the benefits government is providing to them.
 How can franchise be a part of PMKVY scheme?
In order to be the part of PMKVY scheme, what all a franchise required to do is first he must be aware with the requirements which includes: at least 1500 sq feet land with the construction  of a reception area, directors room, counseling room and placement cell, classroom, lab and library and separate washroom for male and females.   Training center must has the proper facility of safe drinking water, first aid kit and fire extinguish material must be present in the centre.
            Once Training centre has all this thing, the next procedure is affiliation process. Affiliation process includes:  CAAF filling. CAAF is basically an online forum which is needed to be filled with all the relevant information and data along with the photographs after filling the CAAF it will show one out of two results either deemed ready or Deemed not ready. If Deemed not ready is the status then it directly means that there is some problem with the CAAF and we need to correct it. But if deemed ready is the status that means the CAAF is submitted successfully and the next process is payment.
                  There are some payment which a franchise need to pay in order to associate there centre with the PMKVY scheme. This payment includes: Registration fees Rs 12000, Affiliation fees Rs1000(each job role), annual monitoring fees Rs 8000 and sector fees Rs 600(each sector).
